HISTORY OF THE SHILOH EVANGELISTIC MINISTRY
Led by the Holy Spirit Evangelist Bright Owusu waited upon the Lord for two weeks whiles fasting and praying in October 2015 when he had the conviction to form an evangelism team.
During the period, the Lord gave the name “SHILOH” 1 Samuel 1:8-19, the Lord said he was going to give a place where people could come a pray and wait on him.
Then after the period and discussion with his wife Mrs. Faustina Owusu, the Lord led him to share this dream with Mr. Vincent Tetteh and Mrs. Jennifer Sarpong on 29th November 2015. The idea was welcomed and a meeting was scheduled and held on Decomber, 2015. After the meeting, Catechist Peter Tawiah, Mrs. Rita Ashong and Mrs. Mary Peterson were also made known of this dream.
An official meeting was then held on the 1st January,2016 hosted by Mrs. Mary Peterson in her house, present were as follows:
- EVANGELIST BRIGHT OWUSU
- VINCENT ANNERTEY TETTEH
- JENNIFER SARPONG
- CATHECIST PETER TAWIAH
- MARY PETERSON
- RITA ASHONG
At the meeting, it was concluded; there was going need to prepare spiritually towards the task ahead hence it was decided to:
- Meet twice in a month to pray and seek the face of the lord.
- Hold an all night for the first meeting and
- Hold and evening meeting the second time.
The first all night was held and after some time the idea was sold to Rev. Dr. And Mrs. Anokye Nkansah who also bought it and joined the team. The team later decided to hold fellowship meetings after a meeting.
Evangelist Bright Owusu went ahead to send text messages with the help of Sister Ahema inviting everyone on his contact list to the prayer fellowship. He went ahead to look for a suitable place for the event and concluded on Cocobod Training School, he then paid for the booking and with the help of Mrs. Rita Ashong and Nana Yaa Ayebea other financial needs were seen to.
The final day 7th March, 2021 came and present there were:

That day the greeting and response the Lord gave to the Evangelist Bright Owusu was redefined as GRAB IT ... IT’S MINE
With time many people joined the fellowship and the Lord used the team to bless them marvellously, with the increasing number of the fellowship, more hands were brought on board to work for a common purpose.
